Cookieless Audiences, Identity & Curation
Third-party cookies are disappearing and programmatic spend is moving to curated deals. DJAX builds the identity, audience, contextual and curation capabilities that keep your inventory addressable and in demand.
Addressability is the new yield.
Bids without identity or audience signals earn less, and buyers increasingly buy through curated deals with short, verified supply paths.
DJAX gives publishers and networks the tools to pass privacy-safe IDs, package first-party audiences and contextual categories, and sell curated deals that buyers can set up automatically.
Stay addressable without third-party cookies.
Each capability is already built and can run in the DJAX platform or be added to your current ad stack.
Identity for Header Bidding (UID2, EUID, ID5, SharedID)
As third-party cookies fade, bids without an identifier earn less. DJAX configures privacy-safe identity solutions, including UID2 or EUID, ID5 and SharedID, and passes them to bidders only when the visitor's consent allows.
Key features
- Central configuration of Prebid user ID modules for UID2 or EUID, ID5 and SharedID
- Adds extended user IDs (eids) to bid requests
- Automatic token refresh
- Consent-gated: IDs sent only when TCF or GPP consent allows
- ID availability reporting per zone
- Uses your own credentials with each identity provider
For your tech team
Identity settings live in one admin screen instead of scattered page code, and consent gating is applied before any ID leaves the page.
For the business
Recover the value of addressable impressions in a cookieless market, and see exactly where identity coverage is weak.
Curated Audience Signals
Your own first-party data is your strongest asset. DJAX lets you build audience segments from on-site behaviour and offer them to buyers in bid requests, mapped to the IAB Audience Taxonomy and gated by consent.
Key features
- Publisher-defined audience segments
- Rules from page, section, visit pattern and form events
- Optional IAB Audience Taxonomy 1.1 IDs per segment
- Segments sent as data objects in bid requests (Seller Defined Audiences, OpenRTB 2.6)
- Consent-gated sending
- Segment size and match reports
For your tech team
Segments are built from first-party rules and sent in standard OpenRTB data objects that buyers already know how to read.
For the business
Package and sell audiences without third-party cookies, and command higher prices for well-defined segments.
Taxonomy-Aligned Contextual Targeting
Contextual targeting needs no cookies and no personal data. DJAX maps your pages to IAB Content Taxonomy 3.0 categories, lets campaigns target by category, and passes the categories to buyers in bid requests.
Key features
- Maps pages to IAB Content Taxonomy 3.0 categories
- Mapping by URL rules or keyword rules
- Optional automated classification endpoint
- Campaign targeting by category ID
- Category IDs and taxonomy version sent in bid requests
- Reporting by category
- No cookies or personal data used
For your tech team
Categories come from rules or an automated classifier, and the taxonomy version travels with every bid request so buyers interpret it correctly.
For the business
Offer advertisers privacy-proof targeting that is easy to explain, and see which content areas perform for each campaign.
Curated Deals and Supply Path Scorecard
Curation is where programmatic spend is moving. DJAX packages your inventory into curated deals with deal IDs, shares them with buyer seats, and scores every supply path so buyers see a clean, direct route.
Key features
- Package inventory by domains, zones, formats, floors and signals into one deal
- Deal IDs for buyers (OpenRTB 2.6)
- Share deals with buyer seat IDs
- Deal delivery and win-rate tracking
- Supply path scorecard using ads.txt, sellers.json and SupplyChain data
- Performance per supply path
For your tech team
Deals are defined once from inventory you already manage, and the scorecard shows mismatches and hops per source.
For the business
Sell curated packages at a premium, and win more spend from buyers practising supply path optimisation.
Deals API Integration
Setting up private marketplace deals by hand on both sides causes mistakes and delays. DJAX creates and syncs deals with buyer platforms using the IAB Tech Lab Deals API.
Key features
- Creates deals with buyer platforms through the IAB Tech Lab Deals API
- Two-way status sync between your platform and the buyer
- Error log for any failed calls
- Scheduled reconciliation that detects and corrects parameter drift
For your tech team
Deals defined in your ad stack are pushed to buyer platforms through the standard API, with scheduled checks that keep both sides identical.
For the business
Launch PMP deals faster, stop losing revenue to mismatched deal settings, and spend less time on manual deal admin.
One capability, three ways to get it.
Every capability on this page is something DJAX has already built. You choose where it runs.
In the DJAX platform
Switched on inside DJAX's own AdServer, SSP, DSP or Ad Exchange, configured for your inventory and partners.
As a custom build
Built to your specification on DJAX's existing modules, so you start from working code rather than a blank page. You own the result.
Added to your current stack
Integrated into the ad server or exchange you already run, including Revive Adserver, without a platform migration.
Common questions
Which identity solutions are supported?
UID2 or EUID, ID5 and SharedID, configured as Prebid user ID modules and passed as extended user IDs (eids) only when consent allows.
What is Seller Defined Audiences?
An IAB Tech Lab approach where publishers define audience segments from their own first-party data and pass them to buyers in standard OpenRTB data objects, optionally mapped to the IAB Audience Taxonomy.
Does contextual targeting use personal data?
No. Pages are mapped to IAB Content Taxonomy 3.0 categories by URL rules, keyword rules or a classifier. No cookies or personal data are used.
How do curated deals reach buyers?
Deals are packaged with deal IDs and shared with buyer seats, and the Deals API integration creates and syncs them with buyer platforms using the IAB Tech Lab Deals API.
Can DJAX add this to the ad server we already use?
Yes. These capabilities run in the DJAX AdServer, SSP, DSP and Ad Exchange, and DJAX can also integrate them into your existing stack, including Revive Adserver, or build them into a custom platform. The free Capability Review tells you which route fits.
